Test your limits in the Zipp High Desert Speed Challenge on Zwift. Choose between two different course lengths and get ready to dig deep. Zwift will hook up your avatar with one of the fastest sets of wheels on the planet: the Zipp 858 NSW front and Super-9 rear disc. The race against the clock goes down May 4-5 on the Watopia expansion. With lots of flats, this course is ideal for time trialing. If you look up from your stem long enough to take in the scenery, you’ll see dinosaur bones, old saloons, and plenty of cacti.
May 4-5. Zwift is going to post 96 events over the two day period, one event every 30 minutes. The first event is at 12am (Pacific time) May 4 and the last event is at 11:30pm (Pacific time) May 5.
IS THIS A RACE?
Yes. It’s a race against yourself. It’s a race against the clock. It’s a test to see where your fitness is. If you go so hard you start seeing things, you’re doing it right. Rest your mind and body for this. You’re going to have to work smart and hard. And it won’t feel good doing it. But you’ll feel great having done it.
