With it's double wall construction, the Podium Chill makes a very good job of being a budget insulation bottle. Sandwiched in between the walls is an insulating material called Aerogel; while not as technically advanced as some other thermal options, it performs well. For cool liquids in summer or warm in winter, Camelbak says it'll keep it's temperature twice as long as a regular bottle and we'd agree based on our experience. At 72g it weighs about 16g more than a regular 610ml bottle. There is a 750ml version too and a dozen colours to choose from. We also like the squeeze valve (similar to ketchup bottle openings), and a lock-out that helps stop leaks.
